Actually, our miners always produced bigger things. Battleships, Hacs for defence, Capitals...a lot of caps. But during war time, it's important to get everyone in well fitted ships. And yes, if things go bad, even the industrialists switch striplasers with beamleasers, arkonor crystals with aurora, and x up.
And they can do this, because they are nearly just as trained as our pure pvp pilots. Someone who goes "noes, i'm a miner, i can't defend our territory" will have his corp ticker removed within 24 hours.
A t2 fit Hulk won't save a pos out of reinforced.
Lol you basically restated what I said. An industrialist is as just as valuable as a war monger flying around in a pvp ship. You can sit here and debate me all day but if you dont have industrials 0.0 and in some case 30-40+ jumps from any system that sells somthing. Your alliance will be royally screwed the first time you get your face handed to you and it takes numerous weeks and carriers to fly new stuff out from empire. I mean I dont know how people do it now, im referring to how it was when I played. I dont see why people cant accept the "Miners / Industrials are just as valuable as a war monger. " Lol. Its not saying they are more valuable it means you kind of need both to maintain stability in ur region. But anyway. I dont get why people are still responding to my original post sense I already resolved my issues lol.
Ive seen some of these pvp videos with these fleets and their team speak is just so serious lol. I dunno maybe I am being really immature but it just seems like theres a fine line to draw between being a little to serious and using team work. What I mean is the way they act with eachother over teamspeak.
Well I never thought about it that way with the cloakers. I can already fly an sb and ive got lvl 5 cloaking. I dunno Ill see what happens. I just dont want to take on the role as a scout and then get placed into another corp that dosn't do anything together. Guess im being extremely pessimistic but Ive gone through so many corps giving false information and hype that my employment history is starting to look like im a corp thief.
*edit*
Yeah I will admit up front that the pvp scene is basically an unknown for me. I dunno perhaps ill give what u said a try. but I appreciate you not going psycho on me while I vented for a while.

Correct me if I am wrong there but to sum up your post it would be single question:
How to find a good corp? Also what I miss in your post is what you want to do - PvP, carebear 0.0 living, mining, etc?
Finding a good corp is the same as looking for good bargain.
You could get a recommendation from other person. You could browse recuitment adds and forums, then look at map, watch the activity in region and dig in history of their owned space, check their killboards and forums and the last and the best - talk to (ex)members, people related to corp, ask for references.
No to sum it up is .. Trying to find a friendly / active industry corp that actually uses vent or team speak and does something more than once a week. preferably 5-7 times get together and mine or some thing strictly for the corp.

I feel like I am fighting to keep my giving personality. Is that really how its viewed? They would rather gain a greedy basterd that flys a force recon ship over someone that has a hulk with t2 crystals and is willing to give without compensation? I dont see the flawed assumption that my view is correct here? Lol? Do we live on the same planet? Are we both human? I am not trying to be offensive but.. In everything I know, emplyers ( corporations ) look for motivated people. Sounds like to me your stating eve corporations are exact opposite of that. Am I wrong o voice of reason? ![]()

Your assumption is flawed, because there's lots of people who want to make money, but less people who want to 'waste' time PVPing and thus not make cash or even lose it (at a vast rate). Getting leechers is not difficult. Therefore IF you want to be part of a viable 0.0 alliance you have to a PVPer, PVE stuff they can get easily or is done by alts. That's just how it is, you seeing it differently doesn't change that :)
I'm serious here; if you want to be part of a proper team (long term) then I'd urge you to rethink your chosen path and look towards being PVP viable. Mind you this doesn't neccesarily have to be shooting someone in the face. If you can fly a Falcon or Covert ops frigate you still contribute a whole lot (you'll do your part) to the whole 'war effort'.
So if you switch your training and in 2-3 months you can make a post on the recruitment forums going "Falcon/covert ops pilot looking for PVP alliance, I put in the effort to learn as much as possible but I'm still a bit of a newb, but I learn quickly" You'll get enough offers. Most will be crap, some will be good and over time you become better and possibly move to a better corp/alliance. In the mean time (if your Falcon/covops isn't needed) you can do your PVE stuff KNOWING that you earned it.
Stating "I fly a Raven and Hulk" won't get you anywhere, or at least not in the better groups (which is what your initial complaint is). Trust me :)
Well I am willing to admit maybe my view is flawed in the eyes of Eve-online but unfortnutally it wont change and perhaps your correct. But I am not a leecher lol. SImply stating that I would be willing to give a service for no compensation is not leeching
. Ive never been much of a fan of pvp because the PVE scene dosn't get anywhere near as much money as the mining industry and if you lost a full fitted force recon ship or what not.. Ugh talk about weeks of mindless ratting just to get it back. Dont get me wrong I understand that. There is a reason I mine and not pvp.
