Hi, Late 90's calling, asking you if you're familiar with our "MMORPG" system, including one of the original and greatest MMORPG's of all time, Ultima Online. Ring a bell? Just the granddaddy of MMO's, which had more features and freedom than any MMO has ever been able to pull off.
But yeah. That guy was a hack, didn't have a clue what we wanted. Freedom? Role playing? A virtual second world? What the hell was he thinking?!
So far so good on Ostermark (sp). Started out kind of rough, but it seems to be mostly even with the Order side getting the advantage, at least in the lower tiers. But it's a roleplay server, so I would like to assume the players on there are generally more cooperative and respectful. So far I haven't been disappointed.
As for your lag, could it be your graphics card? I also have an 8800, and I ran Conan really well with little stutter on higher settings, but I've got it set to medium/high on Warhammer and experience random stuttering that gets really bad in pvp. Anyone have any info on 8800 cards and Warhammer?

Gamestop's been emailng the codes most likely in batches they should of told you this if you pre ordered in store or online.
Honestly though the fact you trusted gamestop is kidna amazing they've been Fubaring the pre order process for this game since the beginning. Amazon is far more reliable and faster at getting you your codes.
Anyone that trusts Gamestop for anything PC related is smoking crack. They've been FUBARing MMO and other game pre-orders consistently since 2003 at least.
Brilliant! I was wondering why MMO's were always messed up. I didn't realize that the Age of Conan beta screw up was Gamestop's fault. Who would have thought that all of the Fileplanet bombs and MMO cancellations were the masterful behind the scenes work of an order of complete malevolence and chaos! NOW my eyes are open. I've been working for a company that consistently and deliberately screws up MMO's out of ignorance and spite, completely ignoring the hit to customer relations and possible future sales of said MMO! But this...this goes deeper than MMO's, doesn't it? The entire pre-order industry has been held hostage by this evil corporation that I manage. They've been lying to me, blaming the companies that actually MAKE the games and that SEND OUT the pre-orders when in actuality, THEY have been destroying the video game industry from the inside all these years!
Who will fight this injustice?!?! Is it you, Sir vernd? Will you stand alone against the fury of their armies?!
You've either never had the 'pleasure' of speaking with a Gamestop peon in person, or you are one.
Oh, I am one, I thought I made that clear in my statement. And I'm not REALLY trying to be a jerk on here about it, or defend the entire company, but I get sick of reading these forums and everyone blames Gamestop for stuff because it's the evil corporation. Most of the time, it's not our fault. But customers who have been to |Gamestop once or twice obviously know more about the inner workings of our system than the people in charge, or so it seems.
