• • Graphics Update...

  • You can compare the graphics, but unless the games are around the same standards it's an unfair comparison. You can compare The original Mario Bros. to a PS3 game and say that the Mario bros. graphics suck, while if compared to something closer to it's era (ex: Pong) the graphics are pretty good. Comparing Runescape to Guild Wars is a bias comparison.

    If you're parents see a perfect test score, they shouldn't expect a perfect score on every test there after.Setting your standards and base of comparison on a next-to-picture-perfect detailed game isn't a wise dessision. You will be disapointed with every other game's graphics and always say they should be at these graphics.

  • As we all know, most people say that Jagex ruined the game with their "downdates", like the wilderness, trading limits, etc. But if you could change only ONE thing in the game back to how it was, what would it be? (sorry to all those POES out there who want to change everything back, and then some.)

     

    Note: this is a poll of what you'd like to turn back to how it was, not of what you'd change to make it better. (ex: focus on older age groups to get rid of young community, spice up combat, etc.)

  • @mike470: Please don't swear. Sorry for the personal attacks. Just got caugt up in the rage is all. And you do need some new material. Keeps people interested rather than reading the same thing over and over again. Thanks for the paragraph tip.

     

    @deviliscious: I never said to not speak yuor mind, just stop saying the same thing over and over. How would you know that they're all 18+ years old? You couldn't verify that unless they were your friends in real life. If soo, then you have too many friends. Like I said to mike, sorry for the "personal attacks". I'll get back to you on the lending feature in another thread. Okay, so I've lost. Big deal. I just got off topic is all. Never was good at debating. I don't think the complaint list could be endless because there's only a limited amount of stuff in the game, unless you make a complaint out of every player, then it's endless. I know what POES stands for. I am not, nor will become, a paying player until all my non-member skills are maxed.

    First off, the reason you see so much complaining about RuneScape is because 99% of the topics are arguing about WHY IT ACTUALLY SUCkS.  For the graphics update, people talked about how Jagex was ignoring the real problems...

    As for the topic you are talking about above, it was one thread. 

    Anyway, new material?  Seriously?  Jagex has given us material for YEARS.  Crappy, customer service, the poor updates, etc....It's really pathetic.

     

    Hahaha...the terible irony here is that you all complain about the community sucking because of 10 year olds. Frankly, I don't see you all as much better. Always saying stuff like "They killed it when they took out the wilderness" and "The GE ruined the econimy" hardly gets you any respect. It's like saying "haha you n00b!" in game. Repeatedly. At a level 120. When all your skills are level 1. It's the same thing, so don't think it's different. Your the spamming noob that everyone hates. and you're not going to levelup anytime soon.

    ..what are you talking about?  We POES give actually reasons for why we believe what we do.    We aren't the community that does all that spamming...  The community IS left with nothing but immature 10 year olds...

    Tuss, your posts are always good for a laugh.  You come in, attacking us POES, but in the end, you wind up losing your arguements.  Face it, the number of RS fans that come here are thinning, and we POES are growing.

    You'll join us.  Mabye not today.  Mabye not tomorrow; but one day.....

    Oh for the love of...you do know you're repeating yourself, right? You could save some trouble by just copy pasting the same thing over and over to try to prove your hopeless point. As for the community issue, you could just get some of your "mature" friends to play it, then their friends, then their friend's friends, etc. Eventually you'll get enough people to balence out the community. Or mabye it should stay a 10 year old community. You'd fit in better. For the complaining threads, I....wait a second. The reason I see so many complaints is because most of the threads are about complaints is what I think you're saying. [sarcasm]BRILIANT DEDUCTION, SURLOCK! I NEVER KNEW THAT BEFORE![/sarcasm] I see alot of comlaints because alot of people think the game sucks is what you should of said. Aparently I'm not the only one terrible at arguments [laughs]. As for the new material, you've already used all that up.The community, the wildy, the graphics, trading limits....it's all been used (the graphics one might be getting a second wind, though). By new material I mean start whaling on something else like the new "item lending" feature. You haven't touched on that yet. Now for the arguments. Nothing says I HAVE to argue. I just choose to because i opose other's ideas. Same reason for you. As for loosing the arguments, that might be true, but I won't lose this one. One last thing: what are the REAL problems in Runescape? I've already heard about the wilderness, bounty hunting, trading limits, poor community, customer service, graphics, and the GE. Give me something new, or is that it? That's all there is wrong with Runescape? If so (which I doubt), then you're making a mountain out of a molehill.
     

    PS: Forgot to put this in. If the game sucks so much, why not just leave? Find a different game that's better, more apealing to your intrests?

     

    PPS: If you're so sure I'm going to join the POES, then you don't know me.
