5 GMT ..think it's pm
I just registered my pre-order key today(about 2hrs ago).
At first, I ran into the same issue, 'all sold out'. I have no idea why but I decided to check back about 20mins later.
I hit the early access link, like I had done before, and this time it let me sign-up and it billed my CC.
The only other thing I did was that I lowered my sub cycle then I hit early access. I changed my sub cycle back to what it was, after the early access went through. I don't belive anything I did with my subscription plan really did anything. I'm just saying what I did.
Again, I don't know why it let me after it said it was sold out but it may be worth checking/trying again for anyone that cares to.
I thought the May 2nd date was for EU pre-order registrations only and that NA/Oceania reg's were supposed to start today. IDK!?!
Anyhow, GL!
Ah no, I was still playing around with the 174.74 beta drivers. ... Right on! Thx, Kaze.

just the fanboys will be left playing AoC and WaR when Blizzard releases Wotlk.
lol Maybe, but I feel the same can be said about WoW.
No, they're not going to canel WAR, the product and the player-base is there, ready and willing.
I agree with others that WoW is the game that will, finaly, feel a bit of a hit in subs. Nothing drastic but X-mas just won't be the same for Blizzard as it has been, based solely on WoW. They'll make up the financial loss between Wotlk xpac and Star'2. But, they will be facing longterm competion and it will get worse as more releases hit the market from here on out.

Funny so many feel its a real RPG, when Funcom THEMTHELVES time and again said it as more an Online Counterstike-like game. Its more what people WANT to believe, heh.
Could you give me a link to where they said this.
@ OP
It's neither and it's a blend of both, at the same time.
It's not a classic MMORPG, due only to the combat system, and not a true MMOFPS(eventhough, there's the feel of twich'er game), there's still classic MMORPG calculations running in the background determining hits/misses/damage and heal amounts based on your stats and feats.
