Again, it seems seamless in some areas and other areas you seem confined (as someone pointed out the invis walls and non underwater swimming).
If you have ever played DAoC then it has the same feel to it (but on a bigger scale).

I liked the AoC male charmodels.
Btw your Biography looks ancient.
To each his own Shol, as I said if I wanted He man or incredible Hulk character models I would have still been playing ....dum.. dee..dum..you guessed it boring ass AoC.
Seems like they fixed some of the character body issues on test and I hope they add more stuff into the model's face, but we will see.
Oh and by the way, my bio will stay like it is until I feel like changing it.

They both look like shit.
When they said new models i thought they actually meant nice looking ones because most people hate the way the plastic lifeless dolls look with their saggy bums and nasty tits. I thought they were going to make the animal races look like animals and give them tails and new bodies that wasn't the humans with a different head....
Instead SOE out does themselves again with shittyness.
The character models were one of the main reasons why I couldn't stand the game and was hoping to see them look all nice and wtf do we get? The same shit but with lower polygons.
I have to agree with his choice, I have been on test as well hoping they fix the shitty, He man buffed models over there. Like I told one of my guildies today, if I wanted the Muscle on top of muscle look in a MMO, I would have still be playing that boring ass Age of Conan.

A bump for this one because I never got an answer?
DAoC players - was the RvR game balanced there? Since it seems Mythic is using the same approach here.
(Please read previous posts for background)
The RvR was balanced as far as numbers go (there was three factions not two).
Had got irritating a bit to be fighting Albion as Mid and see a Hybernian RvR group roll into the castle you had just been fighting the other faction for hours over.
Class Balance in DAoC was a a different story (Vampirs come to mind) as you could get a certain group of classes together and own pretty much any group of other classes (took seasoned players though).
I don't know, I think this quest hing is bologne and is not really needed in fact hell throughout beta even at the preview Destruction only had like a 400-600 man lead on each server (not that dramatic being that everyone won't be doing RvR).
Very excellent review Paragus and very honest.
