I play a Shaman and I have so much decent loot that I can't wear it all. PQs, drops from PVP and RVR, world drops, how the hell are you complaining because one guy need rolled something?

I need roll on most things because I can salvage and I want to level my skill up.

However, and this may just be unique to me, I've had people ask me, not yell at me but just ask me, if they could have the item I've won in a roll and I've given it up. A mount is only 15g so there's really no need to hoard money as far as I can see.

Mebbe you can try asking the person if they can give you the item? Or if they'd accept monetary compensation for it?

I see you point, but I think you are missing mine.  You shouldn't have to do that, yeah it is great if all you have to do is politely ask for the item; but you should have the option to get that item above people who can't use it or people who plan on salvaging it.

Ah, I don't disagree with you at all. I guess I should've made clear that you must work with the mechanics given to you right now in the game.

It would be great if they changed the rolling system, I had terrible times in WoW because of that, lost a chromatic scale or whatever the hell it was called, for my warrior to a priest who vendored it. I just know it was a low drop for some pretty decent gear at the time.

No experience at all with Vanguard, but i'll have to take your guys' word for it that it works better.
