p0r4, thank you for the reply and the honesty. Following your advice, I think ill wait another year or two before purchasing the game so it may be "fine-tuned."
As i write this im downloading Voyage Century and im not sure what to expect or how to play. Id apprechiate any tips you guys have on playing and what to expect. ![]()
1)The WoW storyline is weak at best in my opinion but, im not one to read the quests or pay attention to much but the rewards. Regardless of the lack of storyline, it is still a very exciting and addictive game.
2)Now is one of the best times to join the WoW community with the next expansion coming out soon. With the level cap being raised to 80 its as if everyones character gets wiped except lvl. The hardest part of the game is to aquire end-game gear so you could very easily become an elite member of the lvl 80s if you start playing soon and level.
3)Server choice isn't a huge factor besides a few obvious points. A) wether or not you plan to focus on PvP or if wether you like the ability to be ganked or gank others. B) Initial server choice is irrelevant now with transfers to all types of servers being allowed, so if you change your mind a month into server choice you can up-and-leave for $25 USD
4)Since ive started playing about two years ago the playerbase varies based on server, guild and what time you play. After you find a good group of people to guild with and group up with the rest of the player base becomes irrelevant imo.
5)Quests are simple, just like u said kill x and get y, but end-game content gets much more complex where strategy is a must.
6) Every level up to the lvl cap basically sucks. The real game and fun begins once you hit end-game content.
If your looking for someone to help you in-game feel free to make a character on the Drenden server and message me on either Titten or Orencia (my main).
GL playing and i hope i helped :)
I'm considering wether or not to give this game a try and was wondering if someone could answer a few questions for me...
1) How large is the US population playing?
2) How does PvE and PvP work in this game?
3) How are the graphics?
4) What are the payment options?
I'd also appreciate any other first person accounts of gameplay you could provide.
