devs have said the game plays best on 8XXX+, but can be played with 7XXX's. The current graphics in the game are without lighting, without AA, without texture filtering, or blur, or anything like that.
It will be much more demanding then World of Warcraft, but not as much as AOC.
When you force AA with your graphic card, War already looks better then wow.
This is Wow on low settings, with it's full lighting engine and finished textures.

This is What Warhammer looked like a year ago, without any settings at all (below low) without any lighting engine at all (everything has same lighting as you can see), and place holder textures.

Unless you have a pretty good computer, don't expect to play WAR at max settings. You might get away with medium. You also have to understand when you have 500+ people all RVR'ing, it will be even more demanding on your PC and connection.

I get what you're saying. Honestly though i think people will be more drawn to the higher tier fronts, since ultimately they bring the most points in and will probably be a lot more fun combat-wise than the lower tiers
On a side-note, i'll be interested to see how Twinking is dealt with or if it will even be possible.
You get XP for killing players, you can't twink.
You need to quest to level, but you also need to do PQ's and RVR. If yo don't do RVR, you are going to level extremely slow, have low renown and probably end up grinding mobs. The game is centered around RVR. You get renown and XP for doing scenarios, and XP for killing players. There are people in beta, who play the under populated side that exclusivly level off RVR (instant ques on lower pop side)}.
All this information was released befoe, and yes it's all true. Geneally if Mythic said something is i the game, they won't dissapoint(hint hint).
If you try to level off quests alone, good luck. Though there are a lot of quests Myhic purposely limited the XP gained so you must contribute to RVR to have a smooth and fun leveling experience.
PVE is a small part of this game. The PVE content is mainly leveling, and then doing end game encounters after a very long PVP battle like the King of Aldorf.
PVE end game will not be a part of this game. You won't have big raids for gear. You can't get Renown for anything other then PVP. The best gear i the game is awarded via RVR'ing (PVPing). Yes PVE helps each relam fight for control, but thats the PVE that is going on while leveling.
If you are a PVE fan, this game will not be a game you stick with in the long run. No matter what anyone tells you. I have been in beta for over a year now, and the most PVE I ever did was leveling and even then, you have to PVP to level without grinding off mobs.
There are tons of classes in WAR. They all fill a basic need. Tank, healer, dps, CC. Though they fill the same need, they all play differently. Some are similar to one in another in mechanics, but they are still unique to play.
I have played various classes in the beta. I can tell you they all play differently. Though some are very similar like a Bright Wizard and Sorc, they still have a unique feel to them.
For example, I have played a DOK, Shaman and Runepriest. They all play way differently.
You also have to understand that Mythic has to keep with the Lore and background of Warhammer. This isn't Mythic's IP they can do what they want to, it's very heavily guarded by Gamesworkshop. The classes play very similar roles as they do in the table top game and story of Warhammer.
I obviously can't eloborate or I will break the EULA, but class variety is not a problem with this game. In fact sometimes it's a little to much to deal with.
Do you Role Play?
