But what if it was made of barbecue spare ribs, would'ja eat it then?!
I enjoyed my first month too.
I just can't pay for two MMOs.
This change alone has convinced me to resubscribe when it goes live.
I haven't played FFXI in four years!
Video games are like essays. If the first sentence is boring, nobody is going to read it.
If the first ten minutes is boring, nobody is going to play it.
"This is what you are paying for" is the presentation that the first time you play the game makes. Anyone who plays Warhammer for an hour and says it sucks is absolutely justified in their opinion; the beginning of the game was not engaging enough, not fun enough, to keep them going.
I still haven't tried it yet. It'll be interesting, to be sure.
Games Workshop likely did not allow Blizzard to use their IP because they wanted to take liberties with it that would make for a better PC game, in the same fashion that GW has put a stranglehold on what Mythic can and can't do with their game. If anything in Warhammer seems stupid or pointless, you can bet GW is to blame.
GW has no idea what makes a good video game. Then again, what do you expect from grown men who like to play with dolls ...
Are you still playing (or subscribed to) your first MMO?
