- AoC ruined my life!
I completely agree Kerlith. The level of hqate directed at FC for AoC is ridiculous. Im still playing AoC as is my wife. The game still has some problems but at least they tried something new and different and as long as I enjoy that then Ill keep playing.
People posting skewed stock information and all the other stuff just to try and scare more people away from the game is pretty sad. A lot of the gripes are because things arent as they are in WoW.
At this rate all we'll ever play is WoW clones and the MMO genre will stagnate.

Any community is what you make of it and AoCs no different to any other game. Im more wary of people harping on about the good old days and bemoaning kids etc as its usually just some elitist jerk seeking attention.

- Is AoC really that bad?
The AOC Hate frenzy is getting pretty pathetic IMO. The lack of end game content criticism thats thrown at a2 month old game, I mean WTF? WoW at this stage had UBRS and that was it. LoTRO had nothing then they introduced Thorog or whatever it was killed which we killed in a PUG in less than an hour.
This is all just classic I want it all and I want it now brat generation wrecking something thats barely started. Its a real shame.
I see lots of potential in AoC and whilst its not perfect I am still enjoying playing it.
