    After playing a few hours, I sighed, unistaled and REACTIVATED my WoW account after 3 months or so.

    Have fun with your combat system, I prefer a game with only a loading screen at the start or when I enter a instance.

    Sure! When that happens, I uhm.. don't care? I don't like the games setting, I don't like its endgame. Why can't you just leave me alone? Instead of making al these topics. Damn man, I even find WoW more fun. Does that make me a z0mgwtfnuub? Well  no not really. I just have a different taste then you.

     

    Edit: Potential keep players playing? Sure thats why Vanguard has milions of players. Sigh.

    AoC's only going to impact on it if the pvp turns out to be stellar. Like many I'm still searching for the perfect pvp MMO - but I'm thinking it would be easier to find the holy grail.

    
    Well, if PvP is what you are looking for AoC might be your best bet. From what devs have been stating about TCoS it will probably not be marketed as a PvP game, while AoC seems to be all about PvP. The only thing that contradicts this is the combat system of TCoS that seems to be ideal for PvP purposes.

     

     

    AoC endgame is mostly about Raiding. In this aspect you can look at WoW. Almost the same balance in raiding / pvp ratio and gear. WAR is almost 90% PvP, but it got the oldskool combat system.

     

    TCoS might turn in a good pvp game, when shard conquest is added. But thats post release.

  • What a bull. I stopt reading after that they justify charging for the beta. That they ask for OB well okay. But that they justify it with saying that "They never charged for the normal beta" is just plain stupid. Beta's are a cheap way for a company to find bugs. The PvP weekend was pure for promotion, and had NOTHING to do with a beta.

     

    Funcom, way to go.

      Bwahaha.

    Only games that tries something totaly new atm is TCoS. If they pull it of, and if it is going to be fun is something different. AoC is going to be like WoW too. Only more instancing(wooow!) and something that makes your "autoattack" more "fun".

     

    Yes I beta test AoC, WAR and TCoS. So I problay know more then you about this subject. Not to be harsh or something, but dont believe everything you read that the devs stated. Or what they say on the AoC boards. Or the WAR / TCoS boards.

     

    People really only want to see what they want to see. And I am damn sure, you will be one of the biggest whiners because the game didn't match up to your expectations.
