• • Post Warhammer Online: A new game to look forward to

  • With the disapointment of Warhammer, people are not only done with the genre, but there was nothing to look forward to after that. Well, it seems as if MMOs have thrown us a life line and people are going to start getting hyped about the new KOTOR MMO. We all knew it was coming out some day, and I anticipated the end of 2010, but with the crappy engine they are using, it will be heavily outdated before release.

    Anyway, I know it's still in the beta stage, and this game has a lot of work that needs to be put into it. So, what counts is the game play. And it's going to be fast paced Jedi light saber gameplay and that's going to be great. I swear I loved the single player Knights of the Old Republic, they were was fun as hell. Just like Final Fantasy XI and the Final Fantasy series, this is going to be a great Star Wars game. 

    I dunno, I loved Star Wars Galaxies, and am looking forward to a new MMO. But one thing I've learned after Age of Conan, Warhammer Online, and Tabula Rasa. Don't get over hyped about these games because you will always be disappointed. Tabula Rasa had game play fun as hell, but no end game. Age of Conan had 2008 polished graphics, and Warhammer had the hype. So, if they can combine Tabula Rasa gameplay, FInal Fantasy XI storyline, Warhammer's PvP, and Age of Conan's graphics, (Final Fantasy XI including end game) then I think we will have a kick ass MMO.

    P.S. Don't get over hyped, you'll be disspointed

  • For some reason, seems great, we've been hyped about it for ages, and to be honest there's one problem. I know it's still in the beta stage, but it's going to be 2009, shouldn't they start making games with better graphics?! The graphics sux in this game so far, and I know it's beta, so hopefully they'd better improve on the graphics or we are going to have some issues.

  • Lol, people are going to get hyped about this game as they got hyped about Age of Conan and Warhammer, well that's good. I'm glad we have some new hype to put on the table. But I have learned not to get over hyped. Anyway, this should be a good game, cannot wait for it lol

  • I have to say, I've been saying a lot of terrible things about this game and it is terrible. The first problem is the community, no one talks to each other, and you don't get that enjoying environment. Second of all, the guilds suck, no one wants to talk in the guilds, I.E. Divinity of Skull Throne, you ass holes! Third of all, there's no competition, where's the competitiveness, where is indepth storyline, and where is the fun, the awesome, and amazing things?

    I couldn't even making it to level cap because the classes were so boring, back in Age of Conan at least i made it to level cap because the classes were so fun to play with, besides the unbalanced PvP and nothing to do end game, but in Warhammer end game is vast but boring, gosh darn people make the classes next gen like Crysis or something.

    Why something as boring as Warhammer. And this only way I'll go back to this game is well ,the only way would simply be uhh, the population has to get over 1 million, then I think I'll go back to Warhammer, but this game is pointless, I got deprssed over this crap, but that's ok, like Age of Conan, my back up was Warhammer, like Warhammer my back up is Aion Online, going to be the best game ever.

    So, what's the fate of Warhammer. Simple, the fate of Warhammer is so simple, all you have to do is in this world, you have to.....have less than 1 million subscribers, and that when i'll know this game will be a failure. Yes, there's so many dumb mmos like Age of Conan, Tabula Rasa, Lord of the Rings Online, that have less than 1 million, and they are crap. So if Warhammer gets more than 1 million.

    But I don't know if I'll join back in becuse the game seems so pointless. In Final Fantasy XI, it was working with your guild to do end game events, very fun, storyline great, graphics were crisp. In warhammer, it's quite opposite, there's no point, no one to work it and a world of meaning less PvP that is FUN?! No, the moment isn't fun cause the classes are so freakin boring.

    So, I'm ranting on saying warhammer was a crappy game, but after waiting for 3 years, and getting dissapointed, what would you say?
