• • L2 news, "Gracia expansion will ease the leveling progress extremely" o.o

  • Do you really think leveling in L2 is going to be EASY? For the record, the leveling in L2 is extremely slow, and that's one of the parts I like about it.

    I've read the Gracia update notes and stuff and it looks promising, but I wouldn't cout on the leveling beeing anything near easy.

    It will just be a bit easy-er than it is right now.

    And btw, nobody likes high level noobs. Leveling IS necessary, otherwise very few would actually enjoy the locations, item drops, partys in L2.

• • General: Wakfu Beta Key Handout!

  • Where do they get their names? Well just check out the races:  Xelor= Rolex (backwards), Cra= Arc (it means Bow, in french),  Sram= Mars (a chocolate bar) etc.

    Anyways, I got the beta key long before this handout and I've played a litte. Can't say anything about the game because it's CLOSED beta, but I can tell you it's gonna be way better than Dofus will ever be.

    P.S. In fact Wakfu and Dofus are more MMO than most MMO out there :|

    Just because it's turn based doesn't mean it's a strategy. Is Heroes 3 a strategy? Think before you write.

  • My point is there's a lot of fuss over nothing.

    People are fighting each other over something that's not even a big deal. Some people praise Funcom, some people say it's all a conspiracy, that people are paid to do this and that. Everybody loves a conspiracy.

    There are other games out you know...

    I'm not saying that Blizzard is the best or anything, I just say that there are so many good old gaming companies with far better games than Funcom will probably ever have. Why there's so much fuss about this Funcom is beyond me.

    Maybe it's true, maybe they did pay people to spam every forum everywhere, saying they're so great and their games rock. Personally I don't see it. And I NEVER heard of this company before Age of Conan was out.

  • Seriously now, what's the big deal with this Funcom? Before this Age Of Conan bull crap nobody even heard of it, except for the guys that played Anarchy Online.

    I don't get why everybody is saying Funcom this and Funcom that. It's just some obscure gaming company that  is currently managing this new MMORPG called Age Of Conan. Do not forget that Eidos Interactive is also contributing to this game (and they actually ARE well known in the gameing industry).

    How can you compare a company like Funcom to a company like Blizzard? Blizzard produced great titles like Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, Blood Omen. What games has Funcom produced? Anyone... ? Name one good game they've made! And btw, "The longest journey" was NOT a very good game.

    And then they are the people who had high expectation of Funcom, saying "Oh, I can't belive Funcom whould make such a mistake". AS IF! How can you have high expectations from an obscure company that never made anything good?

    Wake up people!

     

    P.S. I'm not for, or against Age of Conan. I honstly don't care, so spare me the insults.
