I hope the state of the "Road to War" server/s isn't an indication of what we are going to have to put up with in the open beta/release.
It chugs worse than a 386 and is obviously overloaded to hell.
Wakey, wakey, Mythic, your performance is being rated on this mini game, and your getting very low marks so far.
Nice marketing concept, but the hardware is letting you down.
Ps: Hey Mythic, it's bloody August and we are still waiting for the July newsletter, come on guys, you should be doing better than this. I hope the actual game is coming along better than these 2 items.![]()
When I first read this, I was jumping up and down with joy. When I re-read it I saw the "our own server" and "a dedicated server" bits and started to cry.
What's worse, a 350-500 ping, or waiting hours in a que to get onto an over crowded server.
Damn, all you other Aussies, go play on the yank servers, PLEASE.
Thank you EA Mythic.
PvP without the lag, oh joy, be still my beating heart.![]()
Let's just hope they don't do the same mistakes with the open beta as Funcom did, that, so turned me off Conan.
How do you feel about advertising inside games?
