  • Valcyn Server also has a Mos Vegas. I wonder how many other servers have one. We had quite a few PvP battles in Valcyns Mos Vegas back in the PreCU Days. I am still banned from using their Cloner/Shuttleport lol

  • Another reason the house pack up didnt work was due to cross server housing. I placed houses for a friend on Gorath and he placed some on Valcyn for me. He hasnt been back since and those houses still stand as long as he is still playing on his server.

    Also folks who have a Station Pass account and play other SOE games even if they no longer play SWG their houses will stay.

    I have a house on Shadowfire that needs 50k to enter and my toons bank account is empty and it is still there racking up more and more in back maintenance. I guess they changed the rules so the houses no longer go poof no matter how much the owner owes in back maintenance.

    Having been through a suicide in my family I can see his point and agree with this part of  his post. Suicide is very hard on the family and leaves allot of scars behind. I enjoyed reading Jeffs posts about his role in the NGE. I understand and forgave him for his part in that. I do not forgive the selfish act of suicide. I also hope his family finds the comfort they need. I cant understand how someone can do this to their kids, it is absolutely rock bottom unforgivable.

  • To the OP,

    Personally I think anyone who has never played SWG before will find it to be an amazing game. For those of us who played before the NGE we know what it was and how good it could be now if it had not been nerfed so badly. Also alot of the anger is as much to do about the lies and deceptive sales tactics used by SOE and the lingering anger over the Bait and Switch of the NGE.

    Compared to the state of the game in Nov 2005 it has come a long way and is in a few ways better than it was prior to the NGE. Compared to Pre NGE they still have not fixed many  bugs including rubber banding. The UI sucks, combat controls are a chore. The population is really really low on most servers. The player economy is inflated way beyond the means of casual or new players.

    The saddest part of this whole thing is the pieces and parts they have added since the NGE would have have brought in tons of new players had they kept the old system.

  • The chairs are very slow so they are pretty useless. They look like a Wok. If you could use em indoors that would be cool. Just a little more Eye candy. I should have grabbed another hologram or miniature.
