If WoW were free, they wouldn't have the money to keep a game like it going. Guild Wars isn't a true MMO (ArenaNet has even said this), so they really don't even fall into the same catagory.
Well instead of not doing anything out of the same old same old stuff , and starting to add/expand the game with additional content not allready seen in the game. Then they would put some real effort into giving the players a great game.

I would really love to see a big Patch for Roleplay and character customization plus more options to run events cause that something push the game on to a new level instead of just being an avarage game that it is now imo.

Wrong. The missions in AoC are a lot better than in SWG. The missions in WoW are much better than in SWG. Just about every game out there has better missions than SWG.
I wouldnt call them better just more of the same.
