Play Fallout 3, it is engaging, fun, suspenseful, etc.

I think you're looking in the wrong places. try a Neverwinter Nights or NWN2 Persistent World instead of an MMO. You might just get the engaging experience you are looking for - or not! It depends if you are impossible to please or not

- It's a great time to start playing DDO right now!
Monks are mod 7.
The US servers are running the new starter area, it's great - something for you to look forward to in EU if you havent got it yet.
Quests are designed to be run multiple times on different levels of difficulty but there are a lot to choose from now and some pretty decent outside areas as well.

A quick answer, it's different, I am not the most experienced player but I have played a bit here and there :)
Minstrel - Healer/Buffer
Loremaster - Pet Class
Hunter - Range DPS
Champion - Melee DPS
Guardian - Tank
Burgular / Champion - not sure havent really toyed with them much
Some races start in different places, I'll let you find out which ones.

Good stuff, I love CoH, I too have been a subscriber for over two years
I sometimes go a few weeks without playing it but it is the best group MMO out there.
I had to get an account for my 5 year old he loves it too, his highest level character is 12 which he has levelled all by himself.
