You like the game - fine. Feel free to express your opinions :)
As will I. My conscience does not allow me to simply chalk up the money I paid as "bad luck". I was promised a game that simply did not deliver.
I still subscribe to other MMOs and have a blast playing them :)

You were promised a game...but you haven't given it a chance to deliver. The game has hardly been out a month. You cancelled n left before it had the chance to finish up. Games usually get better with age. Most ppl seem to forget how badly many games started up. Many start with things in the game not finished up is my point. Try the game out a bit more...what did you give it...a few days? a week? Obviously not long enouph. Many of the promised features you cry that you are missing shouldn't much affect you till later on in the game. Or did you max lvl n do all the crafting n build a city within the first week?

I am in the same boat as Wykyd, I have paid for a finished game but have been given a beta (or seriously flawed product). After getting my main character to 74, I can without a doubt say that I have seen and experienced enough of AoC to be disappointed at pretty much everything past Tortage. Once I realized that I was left with awesome looking game that I just couldn't force myself to play I have canceled my subscription. My AoC experience gives me every right to come here and tell others of my experiences. Feel free to disagree or provide counter arguments, but don't tell me/us to get out just because we do not agree.

But to come here daily to bash a game you no longer play is kinda pointless no? Do you go out to a movie that you ended up being disappointed with n then hang out at the movie theater for the following weeks telling ppl how much you hated that movie? You go out to dinner n get food you didn't really enjoy...do you hang out at the restaurant for days telling ppl you don't like what food is served? Doubful...you state your opinions then move on. You don't buy the movie when it comes out on dvd...you don't return to that restaraunt. Point is the same...if you don't like it, get over it, move on.

Don't tell me either that a bad movie/dinner are entirely different either. Cause let's face it...it all costs the same amount of money.

Why should you care. You should be playing your awesome game and not waisting your gaming time on the forums.

    • Disappointed in Funcom's...

*Edit* - No most did not get that connection speed, if you look back tons of people were complaining about it, hence why they released the box version already.

I think its 30 days until your next payment. I think thats what you meant to say. You already paid $5 for 10 days.
