I'll bite.
Consoles aren't nearly as powerful as computers so when a game is designed with both platforms in mind the developer must make a choice. Either there must be 2 versions of the game or they must build to the weaker standard.
Console users don't really notice this since they are the weaker link but PC "fanboys" as you call us notice the difference and are upset that the products we buy are becoming lower quality in order to satisfy the demands of another market.
$12.95? Crap man, I remember when $9.95 was expensive for MMO games!
I'm fairly certain that this will be nothing at all like Planetside. My understanding is that it is a standard 3rd person MMORPG with targeting, auto-aiming and skill usage. It just happens to be at longer range with a sci-fi setting rather than close range with a fantasy setting.
What makes the game interesting is the story, the awesome cover system used in combat and the other things they are doing with the game.

any feedback would be useful
Of course it's a pay game.... just like every other high-end commercial MMORPG... ever.

Hmmm...Short vid, but interesting. I didn't notice a targeting crosshair. Graphics look pretty alright though.
Can't wait till the 15th to try it out.
Nor would you expect to see a crosshair, since this is a stat-based third person RPG and not a player-aimed first person shooter.
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
