  • I got my preorder from Gamestop.  Warhammers site says download the game from Fileplanet but my download manager just says "check availability".  I read some things on their website that talks about subscribing before you can download the beta and am just wondering if that is also required?  Its only like $5 but dont wanna spend it unless I have too.

  • Hey, I'm downloading the free trial.  I'm a history buff and really like FPS and MMOs.  Hate to level so I'm looking forward to trying this one out.  Is the game still active?  Is it easy enough for somone to jump in now a days or will I be too far behind?

    Anyway, most people arn't complaining about downtime.  If you read any of the posts.  I am still trying to get an answer to the question I asked, maybe you could read the actually thread.

    When I said early MMO I didnt mean WoW.  How bad was EQ when it first came out?

  • I understand that all MMO releases are now just like this one and I'm not complaining really.  I know theres a lot of people some where that have been working their asses off this past week.  However, I'm just wondering, were early MMO releases like this one, or were they more polished and with all bugs fixed?  I have this feeling that now adays companies just have to get these games out and start making money and that we've put up for it for so long that they now know they can do it when ever they want.  Idk..just ranting, just wondering...
