well i think i get the whole instance thing and understand what they are doing.
they can increase the amount of players per instance to the point where eventually when computers catch up there might be only one instance.
i dont care for this type of instances either i would much rather it just be zones where you might have 500 people per zone yet eq2 did it this way as well if iam not mistaken.
i would rather have instances though then hitching every 500 feet.
the game plays great for me but i do understand your gripes and feel you have a valid one.
cmon fellas , dont be so hard on the op he is just feeling the withdrawls from no aoc:)
I am with ya brotha!
it bites but then hey i got my honey - do's done so faction with the lil lady is improved and its all good:)
I can attest i played beta and was saddend by how slow it was but they have changed alot or just removal of the debugger has made zoning and load times seconds and the game runs flawless.
i played for 12 hrs saturday and sunday around same amount and only crashed once .
As a old EQ fan and stuff I must say i have now foubnd a new home my tempest is almost 21 and i havent been speed leveling actually reading the dialogs and what not
several of us have been wondering how 30 fps can be so smooth in a game but i hit a steady 30 all day long sometimes 60 but i have vsync on.
the game rocks has a few minor bugs but other then that its awsome.
i found nothing but happy folks onthe servers and very little problems and noticed no lag myself overall i would have to say it was a sucessful soft launch.
