    yeah they did it on purpose because they want to annoy you and make you leave. They don't want us to play there game, after all thats how business is run right? work hard on a game for years and then put severs down on purpose to make customers go away.

  • See rav3n2 ,i am not in anyway bashing WAR graphics because like i said EQ2 and WAR has two very different purpose. One is heavily PVE based while other is PVP based.

    But i hate it when people do senseless bashing of something they do not fully understand. I love art style of WAR true to its nature. if only OP has refrained from making such comparisons i would have ignored it. But when you use words 'Honest Impressions' in the title, it means something.

    Also considering the old age of EQ2, it hold very well against many new titles. So whatever OP said about EQ2 in comparison to WAR is just wrong information. Because there is no comparison.

    well the OP first mmo seem to be WoW and with WAR graphics on high the game looks pretty good, the art and design is done nicely.

    If that's the case OP shouldn't compare WAR graphics with EQ2 but with WOW.
    The word HONEST in title of this topic is misleading. I am absolutely having a blast with RVR and PQ quests but i wont lie for things which doesn't exist. That was my only point. I can post EQ2 screen shots back to back with WAR to show OP how wrong she is but then i think if she cared enough, she would have just looked around at some player screen shots posted on this website before making such stupid comparisons.
    WAR is a good game for what it is but people need to stop spreading lies.

    TBH EQ2 is fairly ugly.  The high end armor can look -okay-  but a lot of the armor and clothes look... bad?  EQ2 has a giant bland feeling for everything in it.
    If you turn on AF and AA, for both EQ2 and WAR, WAR does look better.

    I don't know what you are talking about. Bland and ugly? You know how old EQ2 is? Its kind of unfair to compare it with WAR which is not even close to the same graphic style. You must be joking when yous said turn off AA and AF and they both look the same. Do you realize how many other graphic options EQ2 has to set graphics to your own liking? and how many options do WAR has? NONE.

    

    

    
    And rav3n2 OP wasn't even talking about the ART style. She was just bashing EQ2 graphics. So lets not try to spin this in other direction.
