    Well they have the servers with all the expansions.  And 2-3 years ago they released one that cut out the ToA expansion with all it's high end gear.  But there was a recent poll about everyone's views on having a server with the original Frontiers , which would rock because ever since New Frontiers the game has gone downhill.   I'd love to return to the old style Mile Gate & Keep romps.

  • Yea, I will absolutely come back if they release that new server.  I should have never bothered with Age of Conan though, atrocious game.

  • Does this  game need pixel Shader support 3.0? or does 2.0 get by, I read that 2.0 is minimum and 3.0 is recommended but....

    My comp is able to run Crysis, CoD4, NWW2, Advanced Warfighter and those 2.0 shader required games but when it comes to Bioshock, it fails and I get fragments of a black screen that's no good which i'm pretty sure is because Bioshock needs pixel shader 3.0 to run.  That's what i'm getting with AoC now.  Cursor sits around I can hear sound but I can't see the start logos and once i keep clicking into what i think is the main menu then the screen starts in with random fragments of white over the blank screen.

    I'm using a Radeon x700, PoS i know.  But from the info I can gather it does have 2.0 pixel shader support.  I am hoping that upgrading to a 3.0 pixel shader supporting card will allow this game to at least become visible.

    In other words i'm pretty much coming to the conclusion that you NEED pixel shader 3.0 support to view/run the game at all.

    And I don't want to put my authentication key in to go on the main forums because I might not be able to play this game for a while.
