Rainie , I also feel like you and sometimes I would like to go back in time.
The only chance to play Pre-CU again is Emu Project.
I have no hope in new Kotor mmo.
All my family and me are looking forward to go to that '' Galactic Moon Festival'' ROFL
I have no words to explain what this game has become into.
it is a shame.

So what makes you think that swg will be shutting down anytime soon? don't get me wrong i would love for that day im just curious.
Jestor's been predicting the imminent shutdown of SWG for three years now. And every time the date of his "prediction" passes, he just makes another one, as if the previous one never happened.
After six months of NGE I was amazed at the fact of the game still not shutting down. Now it seems to me a joke that the game is still live..
I know nothing about business models or strategies or marketing but the first day I read what NGE was going to be I was sure SOE should send their suits to business night classes. it has been and will be an example of what you never have to do.
it was a sinking ship since 2005-11-15.
SOE has not offered classics or rolled back in its moment just cause of PROUD.
So it is normal that Jestor ,me and other people give dates above shutting cause it is a real joke that it is still live.
No, it's not normal. In fact, it surprises me that people continue to do it, since you'd think that constantly saying "THIS IS IT! THREE MONTHS TO SHUTDOWN!" for three years would pretty much nuke anyone's credibility straight to hell.
Not here, though. Here, such klaxon-like alarm is embraced, even celebrated, since the blind hatred of the game and the lack of respect for those that still play it trump any sense of self-restraint. And, eventually, when the gates do close, Jestor and his "Love that Jestor" sycophants will say "See! Just as Jestor predicted!" -- completely ignoring the fact that he's been dead wrong for three years and will continue to be dead wrong until the day that, by complete coincidence, he happens to be right.
Of course, nobody here has a crystal ball.
When I see a date about the end of the game, I just think ' I wish'; (usually these dates come after some news related to game)
I dont consider dates as 'predictions' but as a fact that people is still amazed that this joke of version of the game is still live. Thats why we see so many dates.

It could be a loss leader -- a product that gets people in the door. Star Wars sells -- that much is certain. People try the game out because it's Star Wars -- then SONY Viral marketers spread the line that EQ2 is a much better game, and the only reason the game is bad is LA "forced the NGE." People then try EQ2 and find that it IS a much better game, so they start playing that one.
It might be worth keeping afloat for that reason alone. Plus they actualy soend so little on it, it might just clear a small profit.
you know, I have the same feeling with SWG than I had with Friday 13th films; at the end of each film Jason always died but suddenly body was gone and we got another film LOL

Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release with a few bugs that will be fixed?
