Ok, I just want to jump into this thread here:
First of all, the whole Richard going into space thing isn't about promoting TR. He did not go into space to promote the game. His going into space has actually beena  lifelong dream of the man's forever. His dad was an astronaught and he wanted to do it.
Richard made big time money in the gaming business and decided to spend a large chunk of it on this. The promotion is something that wsa done on the side. Why not? it was happening anyway why not take advantage of an opportunity for mainstream coverage?
So, to get it straight, no money was diverted from Tabula Rasa to Richard's flight into space. His going or not going has no berring on the betterment of the game. It's just an interesting story that someone from the gaming industry actually did this.

This is perfectly summed up by Lewis Black

"Expensive, you bet! But it was the only way she could achieve her life long dream of flying over every single starving person on Earth and yelling 'Hey look at what i'm spending my money on!'"

Change the she to a he and you got Sir Richard.

Art is subjective, but man, the game to me looks and feels like it was made for 8 year olds. I grew tired of it in 15 min much less can I imagine myself spending HOURS in this world. I understand that it's based on the Warhammer IP and this predates WOW by 20 years but I still don't like it. The art, in a word, sucks.
The movement is VERY clunky and annoying. It's terrible.
The character customization is a flat out JOKE. Not to mention the class choices left me unsatisfied. I found that there was not ONE SINGLE CLASS that I wanted to play.
The way the zones are set up is especially uninspiring. Not only are they smallish, but there is only a tiny portion of it set aside for RvR. I just don't like the design as it feels like an afterthought; and it was, according to the developers (originally they planned to have instanced "scenario" battles only).
Oh, and no player housing? No thanks.
In fact, I'm kinda pissed I bought into the hype. Paul Barnett is a great personality and he hyped this game to the max. But it's just not fun to play.
      My 2 cents.

      Bitter and clueless.

Coming from a current SWG subscriber too, no thanks I don't trust you to know anything about quality.

LOL there more fun in SWG than plaiyng WARHAMMER and we take only the gameplay side lol !

I downloaded their Open beta software and waited for the 7 September weekend. When it came, I could not log-on and the message stated that the server could not authenticate my password.

So I reset my password and waited...and waited...and when I received confirmation that my password was changed, I attempted to log into the game again only to have the same message appear. I looked at some forums and realized I wasn't the only one experiencing this frustrating problem. Many others were reporting the same thing.

After a horrid weekend of nobody being able to play in the Open Beta, people started referring to the game on various forums as Warhammer Offline: Age of Registration.

Because of this huge road block, and my current inability to actually play a game that I paid for, this game has already earned a major strike against it and it will be lucky if I even subscribe past one month.
