    • Unoffical Return to EQ Poll
    • DeadlyMage: thinks they have the great, short answers (in blue, no less), like Stromm for US, and AB for Europe, then says to join a guild, it's not that hard.

Pfffft. I played Stromm for my month a while back, got to level 46 and barely saw any people whatsoever. Talk about missing the point. Stromm might be the best for the US, but it is still fracking desolate. Join a guild, lol, 46 levels and pardon me if I don't join guilds unless I actually meet and become friends with at least one member that I actually meet and hang with in a group, say, at least one time, and then they might actually compliment you by inviting you into the guild. Oh ya, that used to happen in the old EQ when it was populated and people actually met and hung out in the actual zones. Pardon me if I don't want to go asking a bunch of strangers that I haven't met to let me in their guild at the Guild house, or whatever.

Sorry , my bad: Its not that hard, right...funny, I don't remember this conversation being about Guilds. It was about ... screw it ... I give up.

    • Unoffical Return to EQ Poll
    • I think almost everyone who is returning to EQ will say, "Yes, yes, yes, a thousand times, yes."

That is because we really loved EQ, and we are all excited about getting the chance to return for 2 months, for free, no less, woot.

The only problem that remains is this: There are 24 servers; even the highest populated one is pretty desolate. I truly believe Sony is going to blow the biggest opportunity they have had since WoW took everyone away, that is, if they do something to keep us there.

This will be my second return. I tried 2 months ago, and left because was all alone. I wonder if this time will be any different? Nice poll, though. I think almost everyone is excited about the chance to return for free.

Now if only Sony will do something to keep us there, it could surely be the rebirth of a great game...or not, lol.

    • MISSING THE BOAT
    • I have since taken my cause to the EQ Players forum, but every day I see other returning players say the same thing, "Where is everyone; I don't want to play alone til level 60."

And the same answers are always given. They tell us to go here, or to do this, or whatever. Meanwhile, here is what Sony is missing: IF all of us new and returning players actually stayed, they would actually start growing again.

I can't even estimate how many new posts I see daily by new and returning players who are so disappointed when they start playing and no one is there. My gosh, how many times and for how long will Sony see this and do nothing to keep all of us. I know that it isn't hundreds they are losing but thousands over a few months. And with this new Living Legacy Promotion, they are really going to miss an opportunity to snag us and keep us at EQ.

Why? Because alot of us actually have fond memories of EQ and WANT to stay. We are pleading with Sony to give us a reason to stay. That is why vets suggesting this server or that server won't get it done.

I mean really, does it take a rocket scientist to understand that bringing 24 servers down to 12 or 15 might just give us enough of a populaton to at least feel like we aren't all alone in the game? Nuff said, me thinks, lol.

    • Living Legacy Link
    • There is quite the buzz about this Living Legacy promtion at the EQ Players forum.

      Check this out http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?topic_id=133243

If you took all the people who wanted to have one last big party at EQ, from here, and there, and everywhere, I bet if they were all brought together by some miracle, we'd all have a great time. There are many forums buzzing about many people returning to EQ at this time. If only we came all together instead of scattering, hehe ...

Anyways, check out what the vets are saying at EQ Players forum if you want to hear a little more excitement about this Living Legacy Promotion.
