    Grabs fanbois gently by the elbow and attempts to guide him out of ICU.  "She's gone.  Let her go.  She's gone.  We did all we can do."   A Vanguard CE box lies lifeless on a hospital bed, tubes running from its outer surface to EKG machines.

    Monitor flatlines and alarm goes off.  Nurses rush in with crashcart as I escort the dazed fanbois out of the room and to a couch in the lobby.  Fanbois sits down in shock and mumbles, "But there's going to be a starter island.  Surely folks will come over from Conan.  Surely folks will come over."

    
     

    People who have been playing Vanguard and those who have just picked the game up again are enjoying Vanguard's gameplay and that particular MMO world. The game runs smooth, the community is full of very friendly people and the game world is fun to explore while leveling.

    Thank you for your permission to let us enjoy our 'niche game', we really value your permission to do so. We're under no illusions that Vanguard will become a mainstream MMO, why are you so concerned about this?

    You seem like a bored mid-20s kid who unhappy with his MMO and has to post 'something' to make himself feel better aka blogging. We all thank you for your inputs/permissions/blessings on Vanguard and wish your miserable soul well. By the way, you pointing out that Vanguard isn't 'mainstream' but a 'niche' game leads me to believe that you value other people opinions more than your own. Ex. OMG my friends said that game sucks! Or they have ONLY 150K subscriptions! That game must be horrible!    Your opinion is therefore that that game must suck.

    You play a game for enjoyment not as a pathetic status symbol, show some backbone and play what you want.

  • If you have a computer that's 2 years old or younger with 3GiG RAM and a 512Mb video card and STILL claim to have issues, this is a failure on your part. My system is 2 years old with no upgrades since then with a 512Mb card and 3 GiG RAM, learn to optimize your settings/system before judging a game as unplayable for others.

  • Go to high population server(not required) either your PvP or PvE servers, due to the large number of people in WoW there always seems to be quite a few people leveling twinks or alts and you shouldn't have much problem finding groups up until the 30s.

    As far as worrying about level 70, there are new guilds popping up on every server every day just starting Karazhan(the first lvl70 raid zone).

    You'll be fine.
