Most people are probabily little kids, with nothing else to do really, and so their parents pay for them to play world of warcraft. Well This is why I hate wow, all the work you have to put into a game, its no longer a game anymore, its a JOB.
What do we all hate about world of warcraft.
#1 Constantly Farming 24/7 No Goals Really, Other than A Quest.
#2 Farming Honor Points, Being on a loosing Alliace/Horde where you cant even get an Item in one day, but spend weeks days of play time Just to get a item, or more.
#3 Instances. Not being able to run an instance, because you are not properly Geared for a Instance, and Instead forced to run another instance before you can run another.
#4 Farming All you Epics in Battlegrounds/Arena, just for them to become outdated, and have to refarm again, with no discouts to trade in your olds, or anything.
These are my points in where world of warcraft is a boring game, and fails really miserably. I hit level 70, and once I hot level 70, there just was no point, Constantly loosing the battle grounds, ect.
Also if people are going to try to tell me, well try warhammer online or something, well I have tried warhammer online, it is just another let down, poor excuse of a game, coppied after world of warcraft.
The graphics absolutely suck, the designs almost as bad as WOW, to me anyways, it could have been much better than what they made it.
Honestly Im kind of tired of most mmorpg's. I Trusted Fury online, but now they close down, as well as hellgate london, both free to play, and they were both let downs.
My new View on mmorpg's
What I am waiting for is a real life (MMORPG) Based on virtual reality, where people actually have to hold a modeld shield in real life connected to a USB port to block an attack in a game, and real life skills actually come into play, and tactics, instead of some game, where the computer says OH Critical hit, oh you blocked an attack, its getting kind of old, seriously... Were in the year of 2009 soon, MMORPG's deserve something more than copying eachother off of everything. Seriously look at all the free MMORPG's out there that suck, and everything, and get boring.
Personally I think it would be way cool, and a way futureistic mmorpg, if you actually had to use a shield to play a knight in real life, and swing a sword model in real life to kill someone in a game simulation. Also I think it would be nice if to play mages/warlocks you actually use a mic to cast spells, and everything, where there is no longer any casting timers, or anything like that, but real life based 100%. No to mention the profit it would make. Down Side is how much it would actually cost to produce these type of games.
Wouldn't it be a lot more fun to actually shoot someone wearing a p5 glove, and using a shield to block your attacks for real, instead of having a computer do it for you all based on calculations. I know this stuff is kind of a ways off from now, but seriously, someone needs to do it.
What about a new video game based on the (REAL WORLD) Unlike secondlife, But a game that is so real, you can do anything you want in it, a real life simulator, where you can do any type of terrorism job, FBI,CIA,ect. VS Terrorist Factions, where their goal is to stop terrorists from carrying out their Goals of destroying/Bombing things. This would make a very great mmorpg, if such a thing ever did exist, of course it would probabily be rated M, or Adult, or Teen Depending if there is gore in the game.
True they apparently dont give a crap, because its been over one week since the account Termination, and they never really ever look into cases that are falsely accused, lied, or slandered about.
It was a guild/Group problem in secondlife, They decided to start a rumor based on some false evidence handed out, and of course a group reports you they believe it. Truth is I would like to sue them for money losses, but you know how much it isnt worthit when you throw only $800 down the drain within a few months on a virtual game you never get it back or anything.
On the other had my account is still under investergation today XD, but everyone knows how those go they never get looked at.
Also other good news I kinda Got 3 of their members banned perm. From secondlife for breaking the rules/TOS for real, and lying + their group will soon come to a halt, as well as all my friends leaving. Gee all this Drama XD.
From experience of the Secondlife Teen Grid.
Secondlife may no longer be worth playing anymore for a few simple reasons.
When a group of people, or over 20 people report abuse on you for no reason, Your account gets suspended/Terminated for no reason, without evidence provided, and put on hold. Your account most likely never gets looked at, as for my account, I was accused by a group in secondlife of Illegally Copybotting their objects. Yet there is no evidence to provide, no snapshots of it happening, No Videos, No Object in Secondlife to prove so.
I lost my account with over $1,000 USD in Items + Other purchases made on secondlife, and this is what happens when you play, and trust linden labs to actually do something, or investergate something. Your account really never gets looked at, all you get is a termination email, and banned.
Although their Terms OF Service says they have the right to do so for any reason.
Yes :D kind of asking that, I know its stupid, but I got bored of wow kind of.
Do you currently play any NCsoft published games?
