    • So everybody is a Captain, and Emmert is running the show?
    • honestly, i wish this wasn't true. I liked the way it was going to be when the old studio had the rights. Where everyone is a member of the crew, not just a captain of a ship. I was looking forward to the roleplay of it, but I guess that has gone by the wayside.

Hopefully that'll change in the future, but until then I don't see myself buying this game.

    • What's wrong with MUDs?
    • Well, I voted for 'played for a week' but honestly I played them for longer than that.

I can't play most of the normal muds. My roleplaying back in the day was in the old Ultima Online when it had first came out, as well as a couple other games.

However, I have played a few Battletech MUDs and MUXs, simply because there aren't any new battletech/mechwarrior games out there, and nobody plays the old tabletop game anymore... well, not in my area anyway.

So yes, I do play Muds, but only for a game that holds more memories for me than anything else. And sure it is fun. But the problem is, even the Battletech mud I've played before doesn't have many people at all... It's hard to get into combat and roleplaying scenarios because of that. Lack of people.

Oh well. Guess I'll be stuck in memory lane until someone makes a new B-Tech game...
