  • eh may not get 20 but Ill list my games that are better than WoW .... in no particular order

    EQ1, EQ2, EVE, Ryzom, Asherons Call, City of Heroes/Villians, DAOC, FFXI, Anarchy Online, UO, Lineage 2, Vanguard, Planetside, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars.

    and I almost put SWG on the list even AFTER the NGE ... if you count Pre NGE its definatley 10 times better than that crap called WoW.

• • Why the Quest Grind is becoming so popular.

  • heres what i would like see done .... put in two categories

    Chores - these are your basic "kill 10 wombats and bring me back thier spleens" type "quests"
    and
    Quests - these would be server wide participation quests that would have huge game changing outcomes. that would change the game for that server forever. these quests would be incredibly hard to start and different for every server ... and once finished can never be done again nor changed.

  • to me quests arent even quests in these games anymore ... they should be considered chores. I would rather have a game come with 10 super hard ACTUAL quests that change the game instead of 5000 chores.

    a quest to me would be like the original epic quests in EQ1 or the Coldane ring Quest.

    but were not comparing the food to entertainment were comparing the numbers and if numbers of people served = quality like so many wowbois think ... then obviously Mcdonalds having served so many people must mean it has the best product out there right?

    you can look at other genres heck lets stick with entertainment ... Movies. With the same formula "most served = best", the best film ever made would be titanic as it is the largest grossing movie ever.

    but isnt that exactly what your doing? you don't like the results so your making a stinky over why people voted that way. why should anyone justifiy thier voting just for you? why do you think WoW is better than the listed games? because of its population?
