    • Speculation and bullshizzle
    • You ARE allowed to state that you are in Beta. You just can't give any information out about the game.

All I will say is that I am enjoying all the time I've spent with WAR and it keeps getting better as time goes by.

    • L3 was put on indefinate hold when the sorce code was stolen. I havn't heard or been able to find anything about its production being started back up.

You'll be waiting quite a while before Lineage 3. There is no way it'll be out is 2009 unless they are keeping their mouths shut tight. And thats something I've never seen NCSoft do with any games they have their hands in.

    • Please, please PLEASE. Don't think that the PvP combat in this game is slow.  It is FAR from it. When you finally start playing and you jump into PvP and you die so quickly because you don't know whats going on and arn't keeping up with the action, then maybe you'll no longer think its slow.

You can go ahead and watch those videos on youtube or anywhere else, but the fact is until you play the game with people who have been playing it for a while, and especially once you get to tiers 3 and 4, its not a slow game at all.

Good luck with that.  Expect another delay in to 2009.  That's my prediction at least.

Honestly, I'm expecting an October release.

      Purely speculation of course.

Educate yourself.  Seriously.  Not even single player games are entirely bugless.

Admitting to not having features before release doesn't mean they're keeping us up to date. They probably won't cut content but just because they say something doesn't make it true. Especially before release.

He was asking you to think about it logically.  They won't cut more content prior to launch because it would be a disaster from a PR standpoint.  They waited until now so they were certain what would be in and what would not.

This isn't a case of 'they could be lying'..  this is a case of 'they'd have to be idiots to not make all the cuts in one announcement'..  and 2-4 months from launch, they know what will be in and what will not.

We do not know for sure if they will cut more content out or not before launch.  Yes it would be a disaster from a PR standpoint but we can not dismiss the possibility.

We do not know if they waited till now to make the cuts or they had to make the cuts because of pressure from EA.  These cuts could have been planned months in advance or could have been hastily done within a week...we simply do not know.

Sometimes I really don't know about you Hoplite.

You're willing to jump the gun and believe all the doom and gloomers, the 3 or 4 people supposedly in beta and say it NEEDS a delay.  Then, you say don't believe Mythic.  I'm not saying it's not a possibility, but it's highly unlikely.  Mythic isn't a company that makes a decision in a heartbeat, they think it out and look at the big picture, short term and long term.  MJ said they have no plans, this means they're discussing it too, to remove anymore content.  And from what I've seen and read, it doesn't look like there is any content in beta that needs to be cut.

See, it's different this time.  Almost everything is in beta that will be in for launch, except the AH and minimap revamp.  On the content cut for classes and cities, the cities weren't even in the beta, and there was a class or two that wasn't in yet either.

They have 2+ months to polish the game for launch, and find and remove bugs.  That's what they're doing for the rest of the beta, this is to prevent content cuts.  If there is another content cut, I'll be REALLY surprised.

The classes that got cut, somewhat surprised me.  Like I said, one or two wasn't even in yet so I wasn't surprised about them being cut.  The cities weren't in yet and we heard very little news about them, so I wasn't surprised about the 4 cities.

I'm currently playing and imho, the game does NOT need to be delayed anymore.

Like previously stated, the game is pretty much complete except for a few odds and ends, but they are small things that will be added in shortly.

The game is not without its flaws, bugs and hiccups, but for the most part it runs smoothly, and is quite a lot of fun once you get into it. I'll admit, at first I really didn't like the game very much at all. But once I tried out a few classes, and got used to all the systems WAR has in place, I really enjoyed myself. It gets more and more fun as you go.

      The about the content cuts.

The classes that were cut, were cut because they were not fun and unique enough. Yeah, the Choppa sounded great, but it just didn't work out well enough to keep it in the game as it was. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of the Choppa though. It'll be back.

The cities were cut so they could focus on 2 cities at a time and create a HUGE amount of content in them. And trust me, there is a very large amount of content in the cities. It puts WoW to shame. The other cities will be released after launch and give you more battlefronts to wage your wars in, but in my opinion, its a great idea to only have 2 cities at first, it concentrates the action in one area and brings all the races together. Pushing towards the enemy city will be an even more epic battle now.

These are just my 2 cents.
