Dude this is like the longest post of yours I've ever seen. Usually they are just 1-liners telling people not to fall for hype hahaha ![]()
Anyway I'm in the same boat as you. As a general rule I've always felt that my MMOs = PVE and FPS for PVP. But there's something about WAR that 1.) gets my blood up and 2.) makes me feel like my time spent killing other players was damn worthwhile. I dunno why but I'm not thinking about it too much, just enjoying the game instead ![]()
Hmmm, thats not really much to go on.
Any idea of the timeframe? Like is it recent, or like 20 years old? How many books in the series?
I'm extremely excited for WAR and am an avid fan of the lore. However I'll be waiting at least a month before buying a copy and playing. Burnt by bad releases > fandom in this case. (Though I do expect WAR to have a smoother launch than the past few MMOs.)
Hmmm good post there by Mark.
I plan to play WAR, but more importantly I think the industry as a whole needs a good shot in the arm. Too many spectacular failures are scaring away the money and the innovation and are hurting MMOs as a whole.
Funcom's lies and player griefing aside, those armor sets do look pretty cool. Very in-universe and something different from typical fantasy armor.
What is your favorite of EVE's four major factions?
