disappointing, having a storyline in an online game, is not a particularly bad idea, but forcing players to follow one is a really bad idea, it also looks like the only choices in the game are of being jedi... not much in the way of character class choices then
.
Players these days dont want restricted and linear plots, and zero choice, it doesnt really matter how good the storyline is, nor does it matter how good the graphics are, game play and choice do. From what i've seen and read so far, i can see this game being as much of a failure as AoC, but with none of the innovations.
spandex and lightsabres though...
do they give awards for the most boring games of the year still ?... seriously.. what is bioware thinking of

perhaps what you meant was;
Bioware ![]()
private servers? if you mean swgemu isnt that one of those 'maybe it will work one day' kind of things?
SWG classic servers.. if only..
Eve online seems to be the only real choice these days. ![]()
I didnt agree with what he did to the game, but sorry to hear that he died
I tried several times since the NGE hit, to play the game, to enjoy it even.. it just didnt work though, and i walked away from it feeling relieved. The game is dead, i dont mean there are no players (i didnt see many but im sure there were some there, somewhere
) i mean that the life has gone out of it ![]()
when i heard the rumours about bioware, i was quietly hopeful that perhaps, there was light at the end of the tunnel, finally, but, unless im missing some important detail, biowares game is just about jedi's and a restrictive storyline approach.
the light at the end of the tunnel seems to be a train after all ![]()
just seems boring.. i dont know why bioware want to release this as an mmo, as it looks to have a fairly narrow/limited appeal
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
