• • Official Buddy Key Request Thread

  • Just came back from vacation, on which I got quite some info about naval warfare and such. (Malta).
    Being the MMO addict that I am, it got me really interested in trying this game. Is there any chance someone has some unused buddy/trial keys and is willing to send me one?

    Thanks so much in advance!.

    (can return the favor in WoW if you wish, either return a veteran account or a new one for 10/14 days free playtime)

• • Wireless adapters and Regions

  • Question about wireless adapters, especially the 802.11 b/g @ 2.4Ghz channels.

    Each region and country has their own rules about allowing to transmit data over selected channels.
    In the US they allow channels 1 through 11.
    In Europe the general rule is 1 through 13.

    Spain, Israel, France, Japan and others have specific rfules or even less rules.

    Now I know that ADAPTERS (the part in your PC) can differ aswell. US manufactured stuff (like laptops)can only find 1 though 11, European stuff (here in holland anyway) can see channels 1 through 13.

    My question is, What about ADAPTERS sold in Spain or France or Israel? Can those adapters see less channels then the ones sold in Holland?

    Like Spain I think, is not allowed to use channel 9.
    If I take a spanish adapter to the US, can that adapter find channel 9, or not?

     

    Hope my question is clear enough :) Thanks for any insights you may have :D

    Trial account, no server pick. Its just the starter zone, guessing some seperate server thingie.
    With the full game theres a bunch of servers to pick from.

    Concerning the keys and settings not saving, do you run it on Vista? Vista has the nasty habit of not saving things. Make sure you run the game as an admin and things MIGHT be better.

    Concerning spells, near the starting point, near Arias, cross the bridge, theres a bunch of NPC's selling spells, you can see which one is yours very easily ;).

  • This game has thousands of items and mobs... Its a game of acronyms.
    The world has thousands of organisations etc, all with abbreviations aswell.

    If they want to make sure to not offend anyone, the should call it not I.R.A. but Generic_BossMob_0A22993/1

    Yea, you can see something bad in everything.
