    Seeing as how mainstream WoW is, a large proportion of its players aren't up to date with the MMO industry. Hence a large proportion of them are just regular people.
     
    I dare say there would be more virgins playing AoC, Vanguard, EQ I and II, even warhammer online as it is not as mainstream and those who have a vested interest in games would only really know about them.
     
    And it's just a fact that a large proportion of those interested in 'PC' games are virgins.
     
    Stop bashing wow, trying to fit into the naive mmorpg community. It's a good game, could be a lot better as we all know though..

    WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT??

     

    No one has ever enjoyed the PvE grind, but we enjoy the rewards of it, sense of accomplishment.

    Saying the PvE is lacking, is a joke.. The PvE is what you make it.. That goes for ANY game.

  • I love the idea of open RvR but.. This whole chicken idea really takes away the whole 'war' theme they are pushing..

     

    Because, like in War, everyone plays fair am I right? Pffftt..

     

    And to think this is supposed to be the premier PvP mmo coming out in a long time and the majority of posts are from people whinging about ganking and how the chicken idea is wonderful.

     

    Being ganked while leveling just increases the drive for  the majority of people to keep leveling! Those that bitch and cry belong on a normal server. I mean it was fine in WoW.. Yes there was ganking, but that gave opportunity for higher level players to come down and help. Very enjoyable to watch for lowbies, seeing their classes pushed to the limit in the upper tiers, giving them something to aim for.

     

    All that aside though, I will still give the game a go.

     

    My 2 cents though.. If open RvR is supposed to be the premier PvP server type, the chicken rule shouldn't be used as this is supposed to be the most hardcore PvP style of play.. You can't deal with that? Go back to a normal server imo.
