• • Playing LOTRO with Xbox 360 Joypad?

  • I didnt know you could but you can use a xbox 360 controller in lotro. I have managed to configure the direction to the analog stick and a few of my key moves to the buttons. However, what i cant seem to configure is the camera?

    I have tried in camera settings and assigned the other analog stick to rotate camera, but i cant get my character to move in the direction of the camera.

    For example, when i normally press the right mouse button, this locks the camera on my character and the left rotates the camera around him.

    Where are the settings to do this and can it be done. I can see playing with a joypad to be very good. Although i will need to use the keyboard and mouse in certain cirumstances.

     

     

    Can anybody help?

  • Why wouldnt the devs look here? This is one of the largest MMO website out their and i bet your life the devs do take an interest in what people are saying about the game  to improve it? Turbine advertise with MMORPG.com.

    Saying people posting here is a waste of time isnt right really. What about the people who no longer sub and cant post on the offical forums?

  • Dont foget the new clone wars film and the new series! The graphics and  lightsabres remind me kind of that cartoony look.

    Also remember  LA have the ultimate say in the look of the game and nothing gets the go ahead unless they have approved it or pushed it. Remember SWG and the NGE?

    Although i agree there should be quest direction if needed, but i dont agree this should be on all the time. You should be able to toogle on or off. If your really stuck or want to be handed the quest then switch it on.

    Simple, this suits all players then.
