- Laptops
I'm looking at getting my wife a new laptop, and would like to know if there is one out there that is playing VG on a laptop? The price range she is trying to keep me in all I can find have 8600's in them. I know its a decent card, but was just wondering what kind a performance the 8600 has with VG ( with a sufficient cpu & memory)

Started playing in beta 4, and quite 2 months after release. Started back up in Jan 08, and been playing since ( even though I have VERY little time) I love VG I really hope SoE doesn't screw it up like they did EQ.

yes, they are doing new character models with some more customizable features( facial bones they took out to add in helms, and hopefully the gnomes will get their eyebrows back)

I'm playing with a 2900pro, and I average 35-40 fps with everything on high. So with a 4850 it should very nice.
AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+ , Radeon 2900pro 512mb, 2 gigs Kingston DDR2 800
