• • I love AoC but ...

  • This is the only reason I did not purchase the game. While in beta I was never consumed by AoC. Normally I am a junkie when I get to test/play a new MMo. This never happened here. Guess we will see if Aion or War will live up to the hype.

    Same here I played DAoC for 5 yrs and have some wonderful RvR times. So I know Mythic can make a great game but I always liked Funcom, even when I beta AO and played the smooth launch. I will also try AoC but if it does not hold my interest in PvP/GvG then its time for WAR.....

    I could not agree more. I understand why daylight savings was used back in the day but now it seems pointless. All it makes you do is over sleep for work or make work seem an hour later. I agree to get rid of it!!!

    The classic ruleset pretty much took care of both of those problems.
    
    DAOC really needs to release a classic PVP server.
    
    Or we need someone to step up and make SHADOWBANE 2.  But this time let someone who can actually make games do it.  Imagine if we had the talent of Blizzard making a game with the shadowbane rule set?

    Shadowbane 2 that would rock. For my play style SB was the best game until it was always hacked in the middle of a bane. I really enjoyed the fact that the classes all had one counter part that was almost impossible to defeat. I loved killing a R5 Mage Assassin  with my Low R4 Mino Polearm War

  • After reading both parts of the game intro, the concepts sound great. I would give this game a try even though I too have seen these ideas stated before and over the coarse of development 'short change' the public. The last game that had a similar style of gaming, Horizons. I was so looking forward to that game just to be disappointed at launch. With this said I do wish the developing team luck in an attempt to 'break the mold' of current MMOs.
