I think Aion will indeed be a big hit...both in Korea and foreign markets. I do, however, hope that they don't pull the plug on Tabula Rasa. It really is a fun game that just needs more content added to it.
I don't know if it's going to be a big hit, but i'm certain it will be a quality one.
However, the lack of different races is turning me down. Even tough there is alot of character customization, everyone will still look like an Anime Human... also the anime style might not cater to the Western player base.

I just buy WOTLK before my 3 months warhammer game time end.
to strengthen the above statement, all i can say is, i hate WOW raiding and arena, yet i still prefer going back after a 6 months break, you can see how disappointed i am with WAR, i don't even have the mood to complete my level 39 BW with 2 bubbles left, and i am fed up of keep creating new characters, as queue time for low tier took longer and longer compare to last few weeks (same server and i tried both faction, i deleted my level 31 SW, i don't think i will ever delete a character around these level at other mmorpg), and considering LOTRO and WOW is about the same, surely i will choose a game where i already have 2 max level characters, and i have played more than WOW and WAR, i played guildwar , AOC, cabal and try out atlantica online (uninstall after half hour of game play) while on the 6 months break.
the only way for me to discribe WAR is, 'not worth it', this game is fun at the beggining, but just lack of end game content, considering lag and inbalance issue, i am not sure if RVR/world PVP is really that good compare to scenario/battleground, but anyway, i hope this game can be great in the future, as i know i will not stay in a game like WOW for long, at least there are more option to choose from when i am bored with WOW, but comparing the current status, WAR are definitely out.
TBH, i wanted WAR to be WoW PvE with meaningful RvR.
I still don't understand how the company who created DaoC managed to fuck up RvR that much, and they were not able to duplicate the quality of WoW PvE, 3 years after it was released.
Seems to me a game like Aion would have been a great contender for WoW, except it has no race variety and that's a killer.
darkfall is most likely going to suck.
All compabnies seem eager to disappoint the player with half arsed games, thinking they just need to lead the player by the hand to make money.

When you play on any type of Open PvP server your going to be ganked, its the nature of the beast...
So my advice is to only play on one if you got 4-5 friends you can log on every night to watch each others back... otherwise you'll be spending lots of time dying...
You're telling a half truth here. 5 lvl 30-31 can stop 4 groups of lvl 15-20 in Tier 2.
It doesnt matter how many you are, 5 high lvl people are enough to ruin your pvp. You can't do anything against it, and you're loosing your time.

Hello I was thinking about starting all over again and joining a ORVR server because I really enjoy the ORVR however on my server there seems to be little to none ORVR. So if anyone has played on this sort of server could you plz share your expierience with me and why it is a good/bad idea to play ORVR thank you for the help.
Avoid Open RvR at all costs, unless you enjoy greykills, which is the only justification to their existence.
The Chicken mechanic is disabled, and lvl 30+ can fight against lvl 15-20. it means when you assemble a party to take a Fort in your Tier, a group of much higher lvl will come and ruin your day. You cannot kill them, and you're loosing your time trying to.
I stopped at lvl 18, and rerolled on a Core Server. There you get PvP without lvl unbalance.
Oh of course... my opinion only apply to the Order side. When you are destruction, you have twice the number. Then again picking destruction when you know they are more numerous is the chicken way.
Chicken way... that's what describes oRVR best.
Edit: oh yeah it seems you want action.. the solution is a high pop server. Find on with that: http://www.waralytics.com/warservers/index

Actually they do. WAR might not be the ultimate MMO, yet it's the best MMo of 2008. Makes me cry.
