• • Want To Return, but I Cannot Get Game to Re-install!

  • I re-installed my copy of this game, My Playonline ID si still recognised, (god the registration interface is still god awful!!) insert my CD registration and LO, they wont work,

     

    I have to say a totally sucky Business model indeed, so to play this I have to splash out for all teh disks and expansions again.... this really is a bad businesss model, the only game I have played where my CD registration keys expire, so not good at all.

     

    Also a friend of mine came back and left again, reports the pops are low and that the Japanese groups are very 'JAP ONLY GROUPS' and that english speaking players are finding it tough to get groups

  • I do IoD on my alts when i re-roll them, got to level 10-10-10 and obtaining the 'secret stuff' is great fun

  • There are a ton of prgrammes you can run, the guys advice above is probably gonna be the best method, nuke your HD and start again

    Also follow basic security, Install Firewalls, Anti Virus adn the relevant stuff, (you can get these free from Filehippo)

    Ensure the PC has a security routine set up (mine has Defrag once a month, AVG and spyware every 24 hours)

    For regular checks I recommend installing teh following and running at least every 24 hours

    Super Anti Spyware

    AVG8

    CC-Cleaner

    As for password security? Ensure you use different passwords for stuff (The more important it is the harder the password) I currently employ Alpha-Numeric passwords to maximum digits allowed using non sequential digits.

    They should also ask Blizzard to confirm the IP of the accessing PC at the time you got 'Hacked' if its the same everytime then they should be able to do something on this

    How come when VG did server merges everyone ran round crying 'the sky is falling in the sky is falling in' and here you are having to transfer to anther server in order to do anyhting

     

    OH NOE this game is dying a slow horrible deatht that the launch of #Hello Kitty Online the Pedo Version' will kill

     

    *BTW that was extreme sarcasm, everyone knows WAR is dying anyway*
