The game still runs poorly on both high and low end machines, many aspects of the game are still not even tested/implemented like city sieges and crafting, and there is almost no content past level 20. The game isn't even close to ready.
SignusM,with everyone and their grandmother saying how smooth the game runs and the content past level 20 is just as spectacular, seems to me you either A) Didnt play B)you are resigned to hating it no matter what or C)You have a horrible PC and hate your life because you cant afford to buy a new one
I am far from an AoC Fanboi but its people like you that dissuade good players from ever trying something that could change their gaming life..you dont like it thats fine but try and give more detail if youre going to bash something that hasnt even been officially launched other than EA. ![]()
Gratuitous bump because this is a great topic and one i had addressed yesterday with not enough feedback but ut was a start(questioned how your race impacted your gameplay)
it just gets better and better ! ![]()
will that be optional,i dont like head gear to show as a preferance, but aint gonna get my crow in a cup if its there to stay

The only thing that bothers me with this game are the zoning after playing WoWs huge seemless world itll feel like im going backwards.
Ever noticed how WoW pulls off the seemless world? The game is comprised of chunks and uses a simple and clean graphics. You can't travel between zones from just anywhere, you can only do it from specific entrance and exit points. It's seemless to a degree, but not completely. Impassable walls around every zone does not a seemless world make.
FINALLY someone gets it right...Thank you for truth
What difference does it make if it gives the feeling of an open world? I like what I see from AoC so far but WoW does things much better. The endless loading zones is just killing me in AoC.
Think about it : alot of instance with a handful of people in it (example) or open world where you cant move and the game is choppy because of the hundreds/thousands of people playing in one area at the start?
as everyone levels at a different pace after level 20 there wouldnt be as many people running around behind/ahead of you and youll get a chance to spread your wings, just a matter of holding out till than :D
Do you currently play any NCsoft published games?
