• • Best way to describe WAR is "Generic Meh".

  • WAR is WoW with a dash of DAoC instead of DAoC with a dash of Warhammer. Faboys are just too deep in denial to accept this. I think most people playing WAR are just jaded and hold irrational hate at WoW. Both games are good at what they do, the problem is that WoW does pretty much everything WAR does, except it has even more stuff to offer (and if there is something WAR has that WoW doesn't yet, you can bet your life on the fact that Blizzard will do their best to copy it. That's just how they are).

    I think Mythic should've never wasted their time with scenarios and PQ's, and just beefed up open world RvR into a monster.

  • 1. Sieges. Large scale PvP is always fun.

    "2. Tome of Knowledge. I haven't managed to even scratch this yet, but I'm sure there's gonna be tons of fun unlockable things in it for once I'll have more time to devote to the tome (after I get to rank 40)..

    3. The art. Everything looks exactly as it did in the concept art. Good job guys.

    4. Guilds. I like the guild system. Ranking up your guild is always exciting because you get something cool out of it.

    5. No mana. Seriously, thank you guys. Mana is just a silly PvE mechanic, and it has no place in a PvP/RvR game. Also nice that they removed down times and breakable armor etc. Some people might call this dumbing down, and they'd be right if this was a PvE game, but PvE mechanics have no place in a game like WAR.

    A little OT, but man, does it matter why someone plays a class or sex? As long as they do thier job right?

     

     

    Everyone knows that people play elves to look fabulous (me included). Shooting rainbows out of the tip of your staff and then doing a flamboyant flourish. What's there not to like?
