Here's the interview. Notice the last paragraph where it says NDA will be lifted in 2 weeks.

And here's another one for you. Enjoy.
Actually I recently read an interview that they were going to be giving guild beta a few weeks to work out the kinks before they went into OB.
So that makes OB start sometime in August.
I'll try to find that interview for you guys.
The combat itself seems just fine to me. I was just talking about the lack of variety in skills that we see in the video.
I, personally, think the pace is great. I wouldn't want to play a game where I had to be as responsive as if I was playing a shooter.
Show me a good game that has a faster pace and is still enjoyable. I doubt if you'll find one.
Games with a similar fighting pace:
Everquest 2, Wow, DAOC (Although this ones a bit slower than WAR), COX.
*And if you look at any of the newer RvR videos, the animation quality is lower but the speed of combat does pick up quite a bit. Plus the chosen may not be the best class to reference as far as combat speed as they are characteristically a very slow class.
I just found this video on youtube taken from gamesday in Toronto.

Click on watch in high quaility under the video where it says the number of views and don't fullscreen it.
These aren't even the final graphics. And notice how smooth the animations are.
Mythic has come a long way in the last 2 months.
*The combat seems a bit slow but this also appears to be one of the lowest levels and there are very few skills. Also, this is the first time the person playing has ever touched this game so I'd expect a bit more response from someone who's had experience.
Yeah, well some people just can't be pleased. Go have fun with AOC.
How many hours per day do you play MMORPGs?
