• • Is anyone tired of MMo??!?!

  • Since we're talking about giving up on mmoprgs does anyone have any suggestions for a good co-op rpg that I could play lan games with just one other person.  Or really almost any fun game that two people can play together, doesn't have to be a rpg.  And it doesn't matter if it's old or new.

  • Yep, I think I'm probably done with them too.  I might mess around with free trials and the like but I doubt if I'll ever really get into a mmorpg again unless something changes drastically.

    It's so strange, I remember a time when I thought that mmorpgs could only get better.  Now I doubt if they'll ever get better in my lifetime.

  • It's pretty obvious that you've already made up your mind who to vote for so what's the point of this?  Do you really think you're going to change the outcome of the election by slamming the republican ticket on this forum?

    I mean, I don't really have a problem with people posting pointless things but don't think that you're fooling anyone.  You're not some undecided person looking to become better informed, you're a partisan looking for an excuse to slam McCain / Palin.

    So I'll just help you out, how 'bout that?

     

     

    So did she or did she not cut funds for special needs kids?

    Not only that but I heard that she eats babies.

    Did she or did she not cut funds for unwed mothers?

    Not only that but I heard that she forced unwed mothers to enter a convent.

    Does she go to a church that tries to pray the gay out of people?

    Not only that but I heard that she also prays the ugly out of ugly people, the greed out of greedy people, and the devil out of democrats.

    Did she abuse her power when she fired her sister's ex-huisband?

    Not only that but I heard that she had the police break into peoples' homes and beat them if they say anything bad about her.

  • I think you probably could be.  You'd just have to be one of those Christians who doesn't interpret the Bible in a literal way.

    But I can't give a long winded answer because although my parents were nominally Christians they never talked about it or went to church so I grew up in a religious vacuum.  I'm basically agnostic myself.

    Drug legalization---maybe if there are age restrictions and absolutely no government funded support of the addicts.  No welfare for someone caught using drugs and no government paid for rehabilitation.

    Prostitution legalization---I'm not horrified at the idea but all things considered I think it's probably better not to.

    Polyamorous marriage (multiple men or women)---no

    Incestial marriage (among adults of course)---no

    Beastiality---absolutely not

    Necrophilia (pre-mortem consent given)---absolutely not and anyone caught doing it should be casterated.

    Consentual cannibalism---absolutely not

    Consentual death matches (for personal matters or entertainment)---Do you mean dueling to the death?  If that's what you mean then, yes, I would be ok with that if both parties agreed and neither were being coerced into it.  They should probably each have to go to a courthouse separately and sign an agreement beforehand.

    Suicide (as is should we stop someone trying to kill themselves, assuming they were not going to hurt others in the process)---Mmm, well, I don't think it needs to be illegal but it shouldn't be illegal to try to stop someone from killing themselves either.

    Economics

    Gambiling---I'm fine with it.

    Taking a job for less than minimum wage---I don't think there should be a minimum wage.

    Not taking any health issurance (whether social or market based insurance)---should always be a matter of choice.
