- Thinking about starting guild wars with friends, do we need all expansions?
If you want to play GvG you most likely need all 3 campaigns and the expansion. Of course it all depends how serious you want to play pvp.
If you get Factions you can play Alliance Battle(AB) and for that pvp you dont need all the skills. In AB you make a team of 4. When the battle starts two other groups of 4 players also plays on your side. So AB is 12v12.
There is no constant best ele/mesmer build, it changes as the Arenanet often make skill changes. But you can have a look here: http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Main_PageYou can get all the files you are missing in one go by making a copy of your GW shortcut. In that new shortcut you select properties and add - image to target field, so it may look like this: "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" -image
Remember space before -image. That shortcut will only download new files you dont have. If you want to start the game after download you need to use your normal gw shortcut.- Posted: 3/28/08 8:01 PM

- Got Factions via ingame store and no VO for Cutscenes
I have the boxed version and i have just checked there are no voice over in intro cutscene. So boxed version and download version have same game content.
