Come on... hosting a website is so ridiculously cheap these days, even Farlan or whoever is in charge of what's left of DnL can afford it in spite of their legal fees.
If the fact that the website is back up is giving any of the few delusional fanboys any hope, I think they are in for a big disappointment... yet again, some of the hardcore ones still believe the game was the best thing since sliced bread; while the rest of the world knows what a debacle, pie on the sky, poisonware, etc. this game was.
You know... I am not a pvp'er either, but I loved PVP in the original Jumpgate.
Believe me, it has nothing to do with WOW... it just adds an element of danger to space exploration, and you don't have to engage in it per se. If you get ambushed at a jumpgate (which would happen in JG) you can always try to evade.
If the new JG is anything like the original, there is plenty of friendly space. You just need to venture into the "danger zone" sometimes to get to interesting places.
What aspect of MMORPG's are you more into?
