  • Keep dreaming, I was pissed off with the kiddie BS off-topic rude retarded SMS style player base on a "normal" server so I tried a RP server, you still have retards writing like they never went to school, yelling, off-topic, trade channel abuse, stayed there one month never ever saw a GM intervening or enforcing RP rules. So you had these little bastards abusing channels as usual and more mature players trying to shut them up, the bastards would stop after 5 minutes (asking innocently why it isn't allowed to talk BS) then another little bastard starting the process all over again... Yeah WoW RP servers...

     

    On a side note RP in WoW is such a joke in the first place with greedy dudes stealing warhammer universe or pulling ludicrous "lore" out of their ass to sell books to fit their expansion and their stockholders' wallets. And there's nothing in WoW that can foster RP anyway (piss poor kiddie world (humour aimed at politcally correct prepubescent humour to still sell boxes), no house, no guild house, no RP tag, no background story etc etc etc)

    You tried and played dozens of mmorpgs judging by your list, you're answering your question yourself, mmorpgs aren't made for you or you don't tackle them properly if you don't stick to one or two, mmorpgs mean commitment, experience and length. So your big list means you can't or don't know how to play mmorpgs and shouldn't ask for our advice in the first place.

    Only one thing is puzzling me, is it possible to switch off quest helpers and radar (it was possible in Vanguard) to search for things without arrows and dots on the map?

  • Yeah I wanted to try it on the 27th, one more week to go then.

    Inability to commnunicate information properly, no advertisement, average PR (saw them in a major game exhibit though) with dedicated community managers trying to soothe the pain, delays, different publishers, no international launch day to impact the media, isolated servers, it's giving them a bad name, hope the game is good and will not suffer too much from this bumpy start Well mmorpgs are marathons more than sprints but still...
