Apparently Blizzard will have a big press conference next week.
Signs are they will announce a new Diablo game.
Typical Zorndorf, so out of the loop and last month.
100% Vaporware!
Comedy gold.

That comp will play the game fine. When I first got into closed beta I was using a single core 3.0, windows XP, 2gigs of ram, and the same exact video card as you. I had no problem playing. 25-45 FPS on medium settings.
Don't let the babies that don't like the game sour you to it.
I couldn't agree more, I was also running nearly the exact same single core 3ghz system you describe when I first got into Gen Beta, and I had pretty much identical performance to your own. Though occassionally I would peak around 55 fps.
Medium settings on my end as well.
The last line really is a word to the wise though, this game is attracting more naysayers and whiners than you can shake a stick at, however most of them are simply bitter due to there own poor performance (stemming from a wide variety of problems, every one due to user error on the part of the end user and/or there lack of a proper system configuration and modern components).
Don't let any persuade you into "waiting" or any such nonsense, at worst you won't like the game, at best you will absolutely adore it. Either way, thats a chance one takes in the PC industry where you primarily are unable to rent prior to buying, unlike console gaming.
Fee based gaming is the way of the future, the sooner you accept that reality, the better.
And that is a fact.
In your opinion, what kind of gamer are you?
