If you once tried WOW and didn't like it, then chances are you won't like it now either. Nothing has changed apart from the end game.

That sounds very manageable.. I was expecting around 1000+ hours...
I'm not a newbie to MMO's in general, but haven't played EQ2 yet. I'm basically in between starting Vanguard or EQ2. The former (V.) seems more interesting in general, but what I've read it lacks endgame content which I'm fond of. On the other hand the horror stories of people never reaching the level cap in EQ2 sound appaling to me.
Im a hardcore gamer, but I can't push myself to leveling if it's a project for the next 8 months. Could someone therefore give an estimated time span how long it would take to level up (in hours if possible) till the cap.
I've contemplated buying the game. First I'd like to get some player opinions on it's endgame. Yeah I'm one of those 'raiders' and therefore it's by biggest concern.
Also how long does it take to max one's combat level? Not that I'm planning to rush through the content, I like leveling, but I'm not prepared for an insanely long grind either. (Part of the reason I've been reluctant about trying EQ2).
Thx.
It will run on

In light of the recent update which changed the effects of certain AoE powers for the Necromancer, what is your favourite Mage archetype class in Age of Conan?
