I got two characters somewhat high up in levels (1 46, 1 49) and it wasnt until the high forties that I wanted to pound my head into a wall. I had a necro and a barbarian but I can say that I was a huge AOC fan but I quit 30 days after launch. I couldn't play for more then 15 minutes at a time. The game just didn't engage me like I thought it would . I hope you enjoy it and best of luck.
I have never played DAOC and played all weekend. This game is truly great and I do not think the negative posts no mmorpg reflect the true feeling. I had a lot of fun, I missed almost all of saturday but I did play a couple classes up to level 12. I will be keeping my CE order and I cannot wait.
How is the wrath specced warrior priest in RvR/Solo?
I will never understand why this community is so full of people that just complain. I try to enjoy everything and if I get to play for a week or two and then move on so be it. I have bought plenty of games without betas that I pay the same amount for and get home play for 5 minutes and trash it. I ordered a CE a while back so I am just waiting for the head start. I just hope all the complainers quit before OB so I don't have to read their garbage in chat on day 1 like it was with AOC.
Open Beta now days is more of a way to preview a game and do a stress test on servers. By the time we get in to OB the game mechanics are near finished or what not. I am not sure why everyone is comparing this to AOC. Although I am sure it will be negative on the boards here once OB starts. Either way a week is good for me :)
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
